Other hours per term: 0-0-6 Following an introduction to gravitation and light, this course explores the nature of stars and galaxies and their evolution. Material studied: the sun, the birth and death of stars, neutron stars, black holes, the Milky Way, galaxies, and cosmology. Note: Other hours include supervised evening observing sessions.
