Personal Finance I
The study of personal financial management using cases and real life examples. Topics will include personal banking; life, disability and medical insurance; property and liability insurance; pensions and RRSPs; retirement planning; investments; mutual funds; wills and trusts; mortgage and loan concepts; financial planning and financial planners. Prerequisite(s): Economics 1010 AND Economics 1012 AND Accounting 2400 AND One of Statistics 1770 or [Health Science 3450/Psychology 3450 and admission to the B.H.Sc./B.B.A. or B.H.Sc./B.Mgt.
