The history of thinking and writing about the past. Topics will include some of the key texts, authors, concepts, theories, methods, and debates in the development of the historical discipline. Recommended for students considering graduate school. Prerequisite(s): History 2222 AND Three additional courses (9.0 credit hours) in History AND Third-year Standing (a minimum of 60.0 credit hours) Equivalent: History 4850 (Historiography) (prior to 2025/2026)
