MUSI 2020

This course introduces students to a variety of disciplinary approaches to music research and to a broad range of issues and ideas within those approaches. These may include globalization, economics, ritual, decolonization, identities, technologies, interculturality, and more. Through these various perspectives, students will learn about the ways that music intersects with a wide range of sociopolitical issues and how these contexts shape sound.
