This course provides a focused critical perspective on a particular musical genre or closely related group of genres. Students will engage with various research methodologies and disciplines, which may include musicology/ethnomusicology, music analysis, history, and others. Specific topics will vary according to instructor and will be announced in advance. Prerequisite(s): Music 2010 AND Music 2020 AND Music 2030 OR Third-year standing (a minimum of 60.0 credit hours)
