This course is designed to expose the student to the basic elements of music composition such as basic elements of notation; introduction to formal elements; basic pitch architectures; historical models for new works; elementary aesthetics. Prerequisite(s): Music 3360 OR Music 3460 Note: Studio course. This course is not open to students studying Composition in the Studio portion of any Music program.
