Issues related to eyewitness psychology, such as wrongful convictions, obtaining culprit descriptions, facial composites, the pros and cons of various identification techniques, lineup construction, eyewitness confidence, and the effect of factors such as ethnicity, age, familiarity, and delay on identification accuracy. Prerequisite(s): One of Psychology 3040 or Psychology 3850 (Experimental Forensic Psychology) (prior to 2025/2026) Equivalent: Psychology 4850 (Eyewitness Psychology) (prior to 2025/2026)
