Other hours per term: 0-0-10 Development of knowledge and skills for effective communication designed to facilitate change in the leisure behaviour of individuals with diverse needs. We explore communication and counselling techniques that enable TR professionals to build rapport and develop trust with individuals and groups. Prerequisite(s): Admission to the Bachelor of Therapeutic Recreation program Note: Students enrolled in an online section will be required to participate in weekly synchronous online classes.
