ANTH 460

Anthropology Capstone

Lec A1 selected

This course engages students in contemporary methodological and theoretical debates facing anthropology, from ethical considerations around the construction and ownership of knowledge to the practical challenges of designing a research project. Students have the opportunity to develop an original undergraduate thesis supervised by the instructor. An integrative approach reinforces the interlinked nature of sociocultural, biological, and archaeological inquiry, illustrating how diverse theory, methods, and practice can challenge established rhetoric and generate innovative ideas about past, present, and future.
