Conservation planning is concerned with the theory and techniques to improve the scientific basis of conservation decisions and the cost-effectiveness of conservation and management actions. Students learn to apply the basic tools of conservation planning to real and complex conservation problems, including systematic conservation planning, multi-criteria decision analysis, and risk assessment.
