Electromagnetism and Optics

Topics in this course include Gauss's law, current and resistance, direct-current circuits, magnetic fields and forces, sources of magnetic fields, Faraday's law, inductance, alternating-current circuits, electromagnetic waves, the nature and propagation of light, geometric optics, and interference. Please note: You must register separately in lecture and lab components.
