Biomedical Imaging

This course is an introduction to the physics of medical imaging for the four main modalities: x-ray, ultrasound, radionuclide, and magnetic resonance imaging. Basic concepts of light microscopy and image formation will also be included. The primary focus is on physical principles, instrumentation, image interpretation and application. Three lecture hours per week
