BIO 3900

This course provides students with a volunteer work experience (work-integrated learning) in a biological discipline of their choice. Students will complete a minimum of 20 hours of volunteer experience or job shadowing with an organization approved by the Biology Department. A final requirement will be the submission of a substantive e-portfolio which together with mentor feedback will form the course assessment. *Note: Prior to being registered in the course, students must submit an application to the Department. *Pre and post-placement meetings between student, mentor and coordinator will also take place as required. *Prior to being registered in the course, students must submit an application to the Department.
