DSJS 3160

Climate Apocalypse, Cli. Just.

Lec 01 selected

This course explores key texts from the emerging field of environmental humanities to examine two central questions: How do approaches to environmental problems, including the way they are understood and storied, influence responses to environmental crises? And how are interdisciplinary thinkers-from queer, feminist, anti/post-colonial, critical disability, and critical death studies-crafting alternative pathways, beyond despair and inaction and towards more just, resilient, and joyful communities?
