ENGN 1210

This course is the first in a series of design courses structured to foster development toward becoming a professional engineer. It provides a basic introduction to the profession, to the design process, and to the way that engineers communicate through drawing, writing, speaking, and presenting. Students learn about the engineering design process by completing simple engineering design projects in a team-based environment. There is a strong focus on computer-aided drawing and the design process. Three hours lecture and three hours design studio per week.
