ENV 1010

This course introduces students to a multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary approach to the study of environmental issues; and emphasizes the interrelationships among the various physical, biological, and human systems. It examines major contemporary environmental issues, such as land use and climate, and focuses on how these issues are understood and addressed within the natural sciences, social sciences, and humanities. These topics will be explored through lecture, discussion and field trips during the tutorials. Three hours lecture a week, Two-hour tutorial every other week
