This course introduces the elements of tourism and hospitality: facility and accommodation, food and beverage, travel, tourism activities and the economic impact of tourism on small islands. A creative problem-solving approach is applied to the development and design of these elements. The course stresses critical thinking techniques as well as writing and presentation skills.
