Dynamical Systems

This course is a study of the long-term qualitative behaviour of solutions of systems of differential or difference equations. Topics include: non-linear systems, linearization, numerical and graphical methods, equilibria, phase space, stability, bifurcations, strange attractors, and chaos. Applications to physics, biology and other sciences are studied. Three lecture hours per week
