This course provides for external clinical experiences related to the specialties of the Department of Biomedical Sciences not available at UPEI. Students may propose an elective or undertake one already approved by the Department. External clinical experiences are limited to academic institutions, non- academic institutions, and approved private practices, where evaluation of performance is routinely completed. In order for an institution or practice to qualify, certain criteria, as outlined in the Senior Rotation Handbook, must be met. All expenses are the responsibility of the student. Restriction: Student must have fourth year standing in the DVM program and approval of the department Chair, or the Chair's designate, and the Associate Dean of Academic Affairs
