This elective course discusses bovine lameness and welfare. It focuses on prevention of lameness and issues affecting cow comfort. Accurate diagnosis of the causes of lameness, and the economic consequences of lameness and other welfare issues, are emphasized. Five-week module with two hours of lecture per week. Restriction: Student must have third year standing in the DVM program
