ENER 371

Energy Storage and Conversion

Lec 001 and Lab 093 selected

This course introduces the fundamental principles of Thermodynamics, Chemical Thermodynamics, and Electrochemical Thermodynamics as they apply to energy conversion and storage systems. Students will develop a comprehensive understanding of thermal, chemical, and electrochemical processes involved in modern power generation, energy transportation and storage technologies. Through analytical and design-focused learning, the course emphasizes the evaluation of energy efficiency, performance metrics, and environmental impacts. By the end of the course, students will be equipped to analyze, design, and assess a wide range of energy conversion and storage processes for engineering applications. ***Prerequisite ENER 201.*** **
