This course serves as an introduction to GIS and remote sensing and its application to solve engineering problems. The focus will be on learning about geospatial analysis tools using ArcGIS pro, and the integration of remote sensing imagery into analysis. Students will complete a term project that applies GIS and remote sensing to an engineering or research problem, and present the project at the end of the term. Although not required, some experience with ArcGIS Pro is considered an asset.
