This course addresses advanced topics in physical mass-transfer and mass-transfer with chemical reaction as well as their applications. It covers the principles of mass-transfer with chemical reaction, diffusion & mass-transfer coefficients, multi-component mass-transfer processes, steady state & unsteady state mass-transfer, mass-transfer models & simulation, simultaneous heat & mass-transfer, and design of staged / continuous process equipment for mass-transfer.
