This course introduces the fundamental concepts of society, democracy and principles of local government administration in the Saskatchewan context. Topics include: local government democratic values, public administration principles and values, municipal policy making, elected officials responsibilities, communication, public relations, local government finance, budgeting and ethical decision-making. *Note: Formerly numbered LG 014.
