Augmented Reality: Critical Theory, Art, and Activism

Students will analyze augmented reality (AR) experiences that inspire perceptual shifts and further social change. We will read scholarly works on locative AR interventions and discuss critical AR-related issues, including ethics. Students will apply user experience (UX) and interaction design (IxD) principles to create a final AR project.
