This course will delve into the historical and contemporary aspects of colonization, and the impact it has on Indigenous People’s health status. The historical context will be linked with the current reality, with a strength-based focus on Indigenous People’s culture and healing practices. Privilege and power of those who benefit from colonization and colonial systems will also be explored.
