This veterinary internship is a hands-on experience that provides interns with valuable clinical skills and exposure to a diverse veterinary caseload. Interns work under the supervision of experienced clinicians, gaining practical knowledge and developing critical thinking skills. The experience includes assisting with examinations, treatments, and diagnostic procedures, as well as interacting with clients, colleagues and support staff. Interns are also expected to participate in student rounds, journal club, and group discussions. Expectations and the timing of formal written progress assessments will be discussed during the orientation period.
