The domain of study in this seminar covers logistical processes that enable the flow and storage of commodities through a supply chain from point of origin to point of need In particular, the seminar provides an in-depth examination of methods and issues involved in academic research on the role of two vital resources in those processes: facilities and transportation. Topics covered reflect due consideration of key managerial decisions pertaining to those two resources.
