CP 305

This course will introduce students to quantum information processing and hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for quantum-enhanced computing. Students will supplement their learning using an open-source framework for quantum software design and development such as Python-based IBM Qiskit. To succeed in the course, students will need some Python programming experience and basic understanding of quantum mechanics. They are required to have at least one of the two as a prerequisite and be willing to learn the other during the course. Cross-listed with PC305. <br>
