CS 288A

Beer, Communication & Culture

Lec Y selected

Beer is part of many lives. It has historical, cultural, and communicational importance in those and other lives. As such, this course examines beer in our everyday lives and as a cultural and communicational object that unites and disrupts lives. We will look at beer's production, distribution, and consumption across cultures. We will look at how markets are constructed, and we will look at careers in the brewing industry. Address questions to Dr. Jeremy Hunsinger (jhunsinger@wlu.ca).
