An exploration of literature produced for children in intermediate school, grades 6-8, with emphasis on texts since the 1960s. Students will examine the history, major authors, thematic concerns, genres and cultural milieu of tween literature. In addition to books, other texts that tweens consume, including music, magazines, television, and films may be examined. <br> Mode of Delivery: In-person, Virtual Synchronous.
