This course explores exceptionalities in mathematics, including delays in typically developing children. The course content will include an introduction to mathematical cognition, an overview of cognitive and developmental disabilities in mathematics, and teaching and learning strategies and interventions for atypically and typically developing children (those without known cognitive or biological delays).
