GS 101

One Planet, Many Worlds

Lec A and Tut T1 selected

We share a troubled planet, and our common humanity calls for collective action to address multiple challenges. At the same time, our world is fractured into divergent realities, reflecting an unequal distribution of responsibility for harm and suffering, along with uneven access to solutions. This course offers an interdisciplinary exploration of the political, economic and cultural factors underlying the biggest global challenges of our time. Examining specific debates and policy questions sheds light on the institutions, processes, and power relations shaping competing pathways for the future.
