This course is an advanced study of the effects of technology on global society including rapid technological developments affecting social change, types of impact, effected groups, changing uses and ethical dilemmas raised by our increasing integration with technologies. It examines the material objects, knowledge, norms, and attitudes that have been shaped and structured by technology to serve social, political, cultural, and existential purposes.
