In this course students will explore the historical and contemporary structure of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy and their application of the Great Law of Peace. This course centers around the philosophies, teachings and research about the Great Law of Peace and the Haudenosaunee traditional governance structure. Throughout the course students will research and explore the evolution of the Great Law of Peace and the influence Haudenosaunee people have had on governance and democracy globally.
