Students will explore the unique approaches to poetry, performance, and production found in hip-hop music through listening, reading, practice, and dialogue. Through this course, which will also touch on aspects of hip-hop history and the music industry, students will develop a deeper appreciation for language and the role of art in both personal and collective resilience.
