MUCE 101

Students exploring a vocation in teaching and/or facilitating music making in schools and other group settings, will become familiar with basic music pedagogical strategies for school and community contexts, resources, assessment/evaluation processes, and government educational and funding policies. An emphasis on decolonizing the music learning and equity perspectives based on community music principles and practices is central to this course. Cross-listed with MUMI101. <br>
