An introduction to chamber music in performance and practice. Students will explore classical chamber music repertoire through in-class score analysis and discussions of performance issues. Students will be placed in chamber groups to present works in classroom settings. This course is ideal for instrumentalists and vocalists who are interested in specializing in performance in their senior years of study at Laurier. Coursework will include lectures, score study, student performance presentations, with a focus on building chamber music skills, group interpersonal skills, as well as a survey of chamber music careers in Canada and abroad. <br>
