MUMI 101

Students exploring a vocation in teaching and/or facilitating music making in schools and other group settings, will become familiar with basic music pedagogical strategies for school and community contexts, resources, assessment/evaluation processes, and government educational and funding policies. An emphasis on decolonizing the music learning and equity perspectives based on community music principles and practices is central to this course.
