This course invites students to consider pressing global issues through the lens of social and environmental justice. Students will develop skills for identifying theoretical frameworks, and synthesizing and integrating disciplinary perspectives. Key content may include gender inequality, unequal access to education and healthcare, economic disparity, climate change, the politics of Indigeneity, digital rights and privacy, and the impact of war. Topics will be examined in light of political, ideological and cultural influences aimed at sustaining, questioning, or overturning the status quo. <br> <font color="crimson">
