This course will examine ethical norms and how to navigate practical ethical dilemmas. Students will learn about informed consent, confidentiality, data collection, threats to research integrity, and controversial ethics approval processes. Through critical analysis of problematic research studies, the course equips students to recognize and avoid such approaches.
