Exclusion(s): Unavailable to students with credit for ELEC2162. This course will introduce the student to Industrial Process Control starting with feedback control concepts, process models and then tuning with P-only, PI and PID controls. Disturbance rejections using Cascade and Feed-forward control are introduced as well as techniques for dead-time dominant processes.
