ECED 3430

This course deals with algorithms and their software implementation. It starts from the fundamentals of algorithm complexity analysis and covers the key algorithms of sorting and searching, graph manipulation, and dynamic programming. The tutorial sessions and assignments target designing, implementing, and testing solutions to engineering problems requiring classic or application specific algorithms. Emphasis is placed on those aspects of algorithms, complexity and resource tradeoffs relevant for embedded processors.
