ECED 3410

This course deals with requirement analysis, specifications, concepts of transforming an ill-defined problem into a set of specifications and a software solution. Topics include: functional decomposition and data dictionaries; top-down structured and object-oriented analysis techniques; software design and management tools; data storage and advanced programming techniques, and design and application of test procedures and documentation. Methods of improving equity, diversity, and inclusion in software solutions will be explored. A set of assignments and a multipart project apply the techniques to create software solutions to a variety of problems.
