MHPS 1190

This course builds on MHPS 1150: Personal Care and Assistance I. This practical course provides students the opportunity to acquire personal care and assistance skills within the scope of the HCA role. The course includes in-class and supervised laboratory experiences. Students will apply prior theory to develop caregiver skills that support and promote client comfort, safety, independence, and quality of life in both community and care-facility settings.
