In this course, students study leadership concepts in relation to sport, physical education, and coaching. Students examine the role of the leader and the responsibilities that come with becoming a leader. Topics include personal management, relationship management, and conflict management. As part of this course, students will have the opportunity to receive the designation of “Trained” status in specific modules from the Coaching Association of Canada’s (CAC) National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP).
