MATH 4240

This course is a study of advanced topics in the areas of optimization and modeling. Topics will include continuous and discrete models of using non-linear optimization topics, Markov chains, network models in an Artificial Neural Network context, data calibration techniques for mathematical modelling, computational intelligence-based techniques and computational optimization techniques.
