Students will explore the concept of relational engagement through a discovery of self and self in relation to others. They will enhance their awareness and understanding of how personal beliefs, values, and experiences influence caring relationships within nursing practice. Students will develop communication skills essential for establishing professional supportive relationships within the context of person centered care. Note: portions of this course may be offered in an online format.
