Students will prepare for licensure and practice in Canada by reviewing nursing care of clients experiencing health challenges within the Canadian context. They will examine the professional role of the nurse in promoting health and assisting individuals and families with specific health challenges. Students will examine the relevant ethical, legal, and professional imperatives that influence nursing practice within the Canadian health care system Note: portions of this course may be offered in an online format.
