Students will learn the fundamental principles of pharmacology. They will explore relevant legislation, drug action, routes of administration, principles of medication administration, and calculation of dosages for drugs used for common health challenges in Canada. Students will become familiar with the generic and trade names of drugs prescribed for common health challenges. Note: this course is offered partially online.
